Summer Programs

We will offer all in-person programs this summer for 7 weeks 

July 9th – August 20nd.   

Tuesdays in July and August – Science on the Lawn at 10:00 AM with interactive science fun!

  • July 23—Let’s Go Eco Show with Diane Edgecomb
  • July 30 – Science Heroes: Adventure of the Lost Treasure with Talewise
  • Aug 6 – Thaumatropes/Cayuga Museum with
  • Aug 13 —Bugs in My Backyard with Laurie McIntosh

Programs funded by Bernard Carl and Shirley Rosen Library Fund of the Community Foundation and a gift from Sabra Richards.

Ukulele Camp Returns!   

Thursdays July 18 – August 15 at 10:00 AM – on the library lawn

Learn how to play the Ukulele from Jim Van Arsdale and friends at Perform4Purpose.  Free and open to all ages.

No previous experience is needed.  Ukuleles will be provided for those who need them.

Final concert on August 15 to benefit King Ferry Food Pantry.

Thursday, July 11 at 10:00 AM – Join us at Opendore (the future home of Hazard Library) for a walk on the Nature Trail and learn about the native trees, plants, and animals in Sherwood.
